Lindsey Vonn, an American skier born on October 18, 1984 won the gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics for downhill race. She has the second highest overall score of all skiers, female and male. She's one of the most famous and most beloved skiers of the past. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn competes for the US Ski Team. She has 4 overall World Cup victories. She is a well-known athlete in American history. She's among only six females in the history of sports to have won the five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. She was the winner of the World Cup 82 times. After the World Championships in Sweden, one of the most talented and most accomplished American ski racers will be retiring. She retired after a long list of health issues. Four-time World Cup overall champion has announced her retirement on social networks. The final race I will run in my racing career will take place in Re Sweden next week, at the Downhill World Championships and SG World Championships.
