Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is a well-known American cook book writer and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002, and has been aired for up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina Garten began her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget documents. She initially found her career as stimulating intellectually, however she soon lost interest, and opened a speciality store for food known as Barefoot Contessa. The store was very successful over the course of 18 years until she made the decision to close it. After that, she started her first cookbook. Then, a number of cookbooks were published and she also contributed to magazine articles. A different hit was the Food Network Television show. Ina sells a variety of items, from the ingredients needed for cooking, to kitchenware and storage. Ina did not go to any cookery schools nor worked in a restaurant. Her education is completely self-taught. Her name is associated with her casual style of cooking and entertaining. Her most well-known recipes are Skillet with Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and cheese Mac, Beef Bourguignon and cheese with Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
