Hayley Orrantia is she is an American actor, singer and songwriter. Many people recognize the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy TV series 'The Goldbergs'. Her definition of herself is the best musician of all. Music, according her, is the first thing she is passionate about. She began playing with it when she was nine years old. When she was 12, she took music seriously enough to begin training professionally. After some experimentation with writing songs, she recorded her album of music covers when she was fourteen. It was the beginning of her career. Orrantia, born in America but with Hispanic ancestry. Though she grew up speaking exclusively English and never lived in Mexico she's very happy about her Hispanic heritage. To preserve it, she has learned Spanish and created songs using the language. "Hasta Verte," a track she composed in Spanish is one such attempt. Orrantia was a part of The X Factor season 1's auditions during the summer 2011. Orrantia was chosen from an YouTube video submission and received four "yes" no votes by the jury at the time of live auditions held in Seattle, Washington. She initially auditioned in the show "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. But, three other female vocalists as well as her were put together to audition for the remaining music. The group was eliminated at end of the fifth show.
