Jill Hennessy

Jill Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta in November 25th in 1968. She is among Canada's richest and most well-known television actresses. She appeared in Law and Order alongside Chris Noth. Hennessy is from Edmonton, Alberta. Her father John Hennessy was a meat salesman and sales/marketing executive which required a lot of travel and resulted in frequent relocations for the entire family. In 1982, the mother Maxine left her family and the daughter was cared for partly through Eleanor the maternal aunt, who lives in Kitchener Ontario. Jacqueline Hennessy, a identical twin, a writer for magazines who lives in Canada and John Paul J.P. Hennessy Jr. are her siblings. Hennessy traces her ancestry to Irish French Swedish Italian on her father's side and predominantly Ukrainian Roma along with Austrian on her mother's side. She was a student at Stanley Park Senior Public School after which she completed her studies at Grand River Collegiate Institute in Kitchener Ontario and used to perform busking in the Toronto subway. Hennessy was a twin in Dead Ringers with her older sister. Gillian Anderson, who played Dana Scully at The X-Files, claimed that Hennessy was considered for the role. She married Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. The couple have two sons.
